This Scrap Wire Stripper is powered by an electric drill that you supply. I recommend an AC powered drill, just because you don't want to keep replacing the batteries. This is a great wire stripper for someone who has a small amount of scrap wire to process at a time. Here are the specifications:

If you have the need for a scrap wire stripper that can handle normal daily use, but only needs to accomodate wires that are 3/4" in outside diameter or less, then this wire stripper is the perfect choice. Here are the specifications:

All wire strippers are not the same. Some strip rubber insulated wire, others don't. Some will strip smaller gauge or larger gauge wire, but not both. I suggest you give me a call before you purchase any of my wire strippers and let's talk over what your application is going to be and which wire stripper I sell would best fit your requirements. I sell all my wire strippers on eBay, so you could still purchase through them.

All sales are final. All warranty issues will be handled by the manuafcturer. The reason all sales are final is simple to understand but sad to believe people can be so dishonest. We have had customers purchase a wire stripper, strip all the wire they have and then want to return the machine for some made up reason. In the past we have tolerated these few bad apples, but with the current economic times we simply can't do it any longer. If you purchase one of my machines, make sure it is what you want and need. I will help you make that decision, and if I think you need something I don't sell, I'll be the first to tell you. I just want happy satisfied customers. But remember, if you buy it you own it. I will do every thing in my power to make sure any problems with the machine are corrected and that the warranty is adhered to, but I will not take back a machine because you changed your mind.

Scrap ACSR Cable Stripping Machine
Model SEP5 Sepshear
The sepshear cuts only the aluminum or copper of bare ACSR cable. To start the operator must separate a short length 12" (30cm) or less of the cables outer layer. The outer layer is then rewrapped so it will fit into the outer (larger) hole in cylinder. The steel or combined center core is inserted into the center (smaller) hole. The operator must now determine the separating direction of the cable and set the motor switch to forward or reverse as needed. The sepshear will now automatically separate and cut the outer layer of the cable as the operator hand feeds it through.NOTE: ASCR cable with multiple layers around the steel center must go through the start and feed process for each layer.

Motor Information - 110/220 VAC, 50/60 rpm, 1/2 hp gear motor.Cable Diameter Restrictions - The center core diameter after outer layer has been unwrapped must be less than 7/8" (22mm). The outer layer diameter to be cut must be less than 1-1/8" (28mm).Cut lengths - The aluminum or copper outer layers of ACSR cable is cut into lengths ranging from approximately 4" (10cm) to 12" (30 cm).Important: The actual length of cut is the outer layers wrap around the center core.

This little jewel is made for the electrical contactor, demolition company or small recycler that deals with a lot of 10, 12, and 14 gauge plastice coated, solid core copper building wire. Easy to use - Just connect it to your drill or drill press and feed the wire in the correct hole. It compacts the wire and splits the insulation off the wire. It has a 1/2" shaft to connect to your drill. Make sure you watch the video!

This is the newest addition to the Copper Extractor line of wire strippers. It not only strips solid core plastic wire in the normal sizes of 14, 12, and 10 gauge, but also strips stranded wire all the way up to 3/8" in outside diameter. Just like its little brother, this one needs a 1/2" drill for power. We recommend a floor model, if you have the room, and one that can be stepped down to at least 300 RPM. At this price, you can't hardly pass it up!

RT-2 Wire/Cable Stripper is a Heavy duty industrial wire stripper for your scrap wires and cables. Its built with a heavy duty 3/4 hp motor 110v/60hz single phase or 220v/50hz single phase upon request.
